(NEW YORK) -- With luck, Julianne Hough has a very understanding boyfriend. The dancer and actress left $100,000 worth of jewelry in her car last Friday night, and returned a few hours later to find the vehicle ransacked and the baubles missing.

TMZ reports three pieces of jewelry were stolen, including a $50,000 watch, and all of items were gifts from Hough's man, Ryan Seacrest.

Law enforcement sources say Hough parked her Mercedes in a lot at an apartment complex while she paid a visit to a friend.  It's unclear if Hough left the car unlocked, but police say there were no visible signs of a forced entry.
